Now here’s a film that knows how to have a good time. From its opening act to its closing moments, Blood Paradise somehow manages to stay both tightly wound, and loose as a goose. Kudos to Director Patrick Von Barkenberg who pulls off a darkly comedic balancing act.

‘Writing is a dying art’

Blood Paradise is a 2018 Swedish comedy horror feature film directed by Patrick von Barkenburg from a screenplay co-written with Andréa Winter (aka musical artist Baby Yaga), both of whom also star, alongside Christer Cavallius.

It has been a busy few months for the folks at Artsploitation Films and now they have announced another upcoming release, the English-language Swedish Horror/Comedy BLOOD PARADISE from producer-director provocateurs Andréa Winter and Patrick von Barkenberg.

Aspect Ratio today announced the sale of BLOOD PARADISE, the Swedish horror-comedy from producer-director provocateurs Andréa Winter and Patrick von Barkenberg, to Artsploitation Films. The deal was negotiated by Aspect Ratio’s Jordan Mattos and Artsploitation’s Raymond Murray during the American Film Market.

Artsploitation just announced that it has grabbed all North American rights to BLOOD PARADISE, and will team with sales company Aspect Ratio on select theatrical bookings in second quarter 2019, followed by home-video release.
